Christopher Beaver, 47, of Enola has a criminal record dating back 29 years and he is on the run again after his most recent conviction.

Beaver was convicted of a felony for fleeing and eluding police, among other related charges, on August 30, 2023.

The jury trial held before President Judge Edward Guido was done in absentia, as Beaver failed to appear.

Beaver had been on the run from police for over two years following his high-speed chase on Rt 11/15 in Enola with East Pennsboro Police. Shortly after his arrest for the incident, he was released on a $10,000 secured bond and appears to have been missing ever since, according to the DA.

He has a lengthy record in Dauphin and Cumberland counties dating back to an employee retail theft in 1994, followed by a drug charge in 1996, and terroristic threats and criminal mischief in 2004, according to court records.

In 2005, he was caught fleeing and eluding police while driving under the influence. He lost his license following his 2009 conviction for that offense, according to the DA and court documents.

In 2011, he pleaded guilty to manufacturing drugs and went to jail for 20 days in 2012, court records show.

After failing to appear for a hearing regarding a 2018 burglary, a bench warrant was issued on Sept. 12, 2023, according to another court docket.

The DA noted that "Beaver lost his leg during a motorcycle accident in another attempt to flee from police." Additional descriptive details were not released.

Anyone with information about Christopher Beaver's whereabouts is asked to contact the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at 717-240-7322 during normal business hours and 717-243-4121 after business hours.
